Treks and Hermitages of Abruzzo

With its 3 National Parks Abruzzo has been renamed ‘Green area of Europe’ and offers infinite possibilities of trek paths at different levels of difficulty in uncontaminated nature.

You will find paths on the mountains of the Gran Sasso and Majella, offering beautiful walks with amazing views: only in Abruzzo will you able to see the peaks of the mountains at the same time as sea, which awaits you for a cooling dip when you return from your trip.

At only 1 hours drive from our Hotel you will be able to find many hermitage sites with all their history, nature and religious background.

These are cult sites dating pre 1000BC, hand built in the cliff face from the first religious crusaders who arrived in Abruzzo.

All the treks and tours are accompanied by qualified guides.

Villas and food & wine

Abruzzo will amaze you with the beauty of its antique villages: little hamlets inhabited by only a few people, which in summer fill with tourists curious to see these now rare and disappearing areas.

It is during these trips that you will discover antique traditions and flavours which have been passed on  by generations to let us re-discover them.

During these trips you can include  a visit to local wine cellars or oil mills.

Cycling adventures

For mountain bike lovers, we can organize trips of varying difficulty levels with a certified guide, leaving directly from the Hotel.

Within moments of your departure you will find yourself immersed in nature on our hills with views of the peaks of the Gran Sasso to the deep blue sea.

Running & Park Adventure

If you fancy an uphill run you can use the Filiani park, behind the town of Pineto.

It’s another wonderful green space where you can enjoy a relaxing walk or upbeat run.

Within this green park there is also the very new ‘Cerrano adventure park’ which offers tree top adventures in the pine trees suitable for all levels and ages, here you will also find a restaurant area and is great for a fun day out near to the hotel.
